Hi team EE,
I was really surprised to see that there is no filter search function available on EE4. Something that is so indispensible for any website of these modern days! I have seen that there are many requests about this feature but still no answer to the call. (see one of them in the link below)
I have requested a quote to develope it at Wisdomlabs (one of the development companies that EE reccomends and that offers the service to develope such a function for EE. They quoted me for 500 dollars (14 hours) I think this is quite expensive and should really be something that is supported bij EE4.
Would like your thoughts on this matter?

Hi,
We feel this is something that can be accomplished by making customization’s to your theme or using third-party plugins such as Beautiful taxonomy filters and/or Relevanssi Search.
We are open to sponsorship of features, but I think this is something that needs to have a very specific set features mapped out, which may change depending on the use case. Ie, you could pour hundreds of hours into building a search/filter add-on, depending on what features you wanted it to have. Also, we would have to account for any theme issues that arise when trying to style something like this for use across thousands of different website themes.
