i went through the forum trying to fix the full size image on the event page (the image on the list of events page shows at a good size).
i saw this post on removing the event page image, but the code doesn’t work on my site (i put it in Theme Customizer/Additional CSS).
do i have to change anything to remove the image?
support forum with the code tried to use:

Hi there,
It’s actually your theme that controls the output of the feature image and in this case, uses different classes to the example Josh provided, you would need:
.espresso_event_type-single-event .post-thumbnail {
display: none;
}
