The featured image sizes are actually controlled by the WordPress theme, and there’s some information about how to set the Avada options for image sizes in the Avada documentation:
Hello Josh, unfortunately it did not work at all!
I think I will give up EventEspresso 4. :-(.
I will do now the following. I will move it from my target page to a test site also with Avada. And If I get it working somehow then I will move it again to my target site. But an Event without an image is really very dry. And an Event with a huge image is also a bad thing! By the way also when I create a free test course and then try to download the PDF I got the following error:
Warning: getimagesize(https://successful-coding.de/wp-content/uploads/2017/02/Successful-Coding-Logo-Black-Retina.png): failed to open stream: HTTP request failed! HTTP/1.1 403 Forbidden in …. /htdocs/clickandbuilds/SuccessfulCoding/wp-content/plugins/event-espresso-core-reg/core/libraries/shortcodes/EE_Transaction_Shortcodes.lib.php on line 340 Unable to stream pdf: headers already sent.
The site is then crashed and nothing work anymore after that!
As Josh mentioned the output of the single event page is controlled by your theme, so its Avada outputting the full size feature image and then calling the_content (which triggers Event Espresso to add the event details).
The getimagesize() error is usually down to your host having allow_url_fopen disabled on the server, you will need to contact them and have them check if its disabled, if so they will need to enable it for your PDF’s to work as it is required by DOMPDF.
The site is then crashed and nothing work anymore after that!
Do you mean on that single request or the whole site? As in another tab can you still view the site/admin?
