Hi,
We have a project that Event Espresso looks perfect for. But were wondering if it can do reminder emails (ie. “You have an event in two days!”) and thank you emails (“Thanks for attending our event”). Both of those could easily be accomplished by hand but it would be nice if they could be automated.

The other two features they were wondering about are support for gift certificates and store credit (if an event is refunded could it be refunded as store credit?)

How are you today?

Neither of those features currently exist. We plan to add the automated emails to Event Espresso 4 eventually. We’re uncertain if we add credits or gift certificates to Event Espresso.

Cool. Thanks for the info. We’ll see if we can work around it.

A few more questions –

Can we do a single use discount code that deactivates after it has been used once or X number o times?
Is the Plugin set up so that third parties can extend it with their own plugins?

Hi Steve,

The coupon codes that can be limited by the number of uses will be available in Event Espresso 4.1 (i think), and Event Espresso 4 will be a lot more modular so you can extend as needed. THat’s why we’re rebuilding Event Espresso and why version 3.2 turned into EE4 (because it’s changed so much).

Hi Steve,

We don’t have an exact release date for EE4, but we are very close. We are tying up some loose ends and our customers are testing it out in beta right now. All of our customers have access to test the beta version.
