We are receiving these errors on the site. Can these be resolved? 2023-05-17 14:18:01 PHP Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Failed opening required ‘/home/haysmaci/public_html/wp-content/plugins/event-espresso-core-reg/core/services/assets/Barista.php’ (include_path=’.:/opt/cpanel/ea-php81/root/usr/share/pear’) in /home/haysmaci/public_html/wp-content/plugins/event-espresso-core-reg/core/Psr4Autoloader.php:186 2023-05-17 14:18:06 WordPress database error Commands out of sync; you can’t run this command now for query SELECT option_value FROM wpdu_options WHERE option_name = ‘ee_pers_admin_notices’ LIMIT 1 made by shutdown_action_hook, do_action(‘shutdown’), WP_Hook->do_action, WP_Hook->apply_filters, EventEspresso\core\services\notifications\PersistentAdminNoticeManager->registerAndSaveNotices, EventEspresso\core\services\notifications\PersistentAdminNoticeManager->getPersistentAdminNoticeCollection, EventEspresso\core\services\notifications\PersistentAdminNoticeManager->retrieveStoredNotices, get_option |

Hi there, This error:
Usually means there is a missing file from your install. How did you install Event Espresso? Have you just installed/updated recently? |
Hi we usually update via the standard update plugin link, but do you advise we should always update this manually given this apparent missing file issue? |
No, I suggest still using the built-in updater. It’s not all that uncommon to run into issues like this with either install method, especially with bigger filesizes like Event Espresso. Did you run a manual update and did that fix it? |
Hi Tony, thank you for the update. the manual upload then removed all of the fatal errors. so I guess we should continue to do all manual updates? |
No, there was an issue with the above update but that doesn’t mean you’ll have an issue every time. Use the ‘normal’ WP updates to update, if it continues to happen there is an issue somewhere causing the updates to fail but you know how to fix it already by manually installing the plugin. If it continues to happen there’s an issue server side which needs to be investigated to fix. |
