Hi,

I am just trying out the decaf version of EE. It all seems to install and activate fine. I can add an event fine. But when I try to deactivate the plugin it fails with:

Fatal error: Call to undefined method EE_System::minimum_php_version_required() in C:\xampp\htdocs\abp\wp-content\plugins\event-espresso-decaf\espresso.php on line 176

Wordpress version is 4.4.2
EE version is 4.7.13.decaf

I have deactivated all my other plugins and changed my theme to Twenty Fifteen, but I still get the error.

Hi Stu,

We are aware of this issue with Decaf and are working on a fix.

Currently you can de-activate the plugin by renaming the plugin folder within:

/wp-content/plugins/

You’ll see a directory called ‘event-espresso-decaf’, simply rename it to something different (just add ‘-temp’ to the end for example)

OK. Cool. Thanks Tony.

Can you post back here when the fix is released?

Stu
