We are getting this Fatal error – could you shed some light on what is happening? We are running EE Version 4.10.44.p, WordPress 6.1.1
Uncaught EventEspresso\core\exceptions\InvalidDataTypeException: The supplied data for "$name" was an integer, but a string was expected. in /home/lolaarts/public_html/wp-content/plugins/event-espresso-core-reg/core/domain/entities/notifications/PersistentAdminNotice.php:128 Stack trace: #0 /home/lolaarts/public_html/wp-content/plugins/event-espresso-core-reg/core/domain/entities/notifications/PersistentAdminNotice.php(98): EventEspresso\core\domain\entities\notifications\PersistentAdminNotice->setName(15525413326) #1 /home/lolaarts/public_html/wp-content/plugins/event-espresso-core-reg/core/services/notifications/PersistentAdminNoticeManager.php(159): EventEspresso\core\domain\entities\notifications\PersistentAdminNotice->__construct(15525413326, ‘1675269814’, false, ‘manage_options’, ‘view persistent…’, false) #2 /home/lolaarts/public_html/wp-content/plugins/event-espresso-core-reg/core/services/notifications/PersistentAdminNoticeManager.php(111): EventEspresso\core\services\notifications\Persis in /home/lolaarts/public_html/wp-content/plugins/event-espresso-core-reg/core/domain/entities/notifications/PersistentAdminNotice.php on line 128
The above is an add notice to be thrown as it’s a timestamp, which is then causing a fatal error.
Do you have FTP access to the site, if so can I add some debug code to see what is happening. If you want me to try that you can send temp login details over using this form:
Thank you for the credentials, I’ve fixed this on your site directly.
I can’t tell you how but the site option used to store the admin notices has additional data saved within it which EE did not know how to handle. None of the data there was important (or actually had any meaning at all to Event Espresso) so I emptied the option to remove that data and the site is now back up.
Please do let me know if you have any further issues.
