I updated to Version 4.8.4. on two websites and both websites are experiencing this issue. On all the category pages, when EE is activated, we get this Fatal Error: On http://www.oceansofcalm.com/ we get Fatal error: Uncaught exception ‘EE_Error’ with message ‘The incoming value being prepared for setting in the database must either be empty or a php DateTime object’ in /home/rayrolan/public_html/oceansofcalm.com/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/event-espresso-core-reg/core/db_models/fields/EE_Datetime_Field.php:487 Stack trace: #0 /home/rayrolan/public_html/oceansofcalm.com/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/event-espresso-core-reg/core/db_models/EEM_Base.model.php(2200): EE_Datetime_Field->prepare_for_use_in_db(‘1440261600’) #1 /home/rayrolan/public_html/oceansofcalm.com/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/event-espresso-core-reg/core/db_models/EEM_Base.model.php(2180): EEM_Base->_prepare_value_for_use_in_db(‘1440261600’, Object(EE_Datetime_Field)) #2 /home/rayrolan/public_html/oceansofcalm.com/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/event-espresso-core-reg/core/db_models/EEM_Base.model.php(1440): EEM_Base->_prepare_value_or_use_default(Object(EE_Datetime_Field), Array) #3 /home/rayrolan/public_html/oceansofcalm.com/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/ev in /home/rayrolan/public_html/oceansofcalm.com/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/event-espresso-core-reg/core/db_models/fields/EE_Datetime_Field.php on line 487 On our development site I left EE active so you can see the errors live on our category pages: Single posts are ok, it’s just categories: PLEASE ADVISE ASAP. I have 2 live sites unable to use our event software at the moment because of this. Those sites are- https://rayrolando.com/ and http://www.oceansofcalm.com/ Thank you, |

Hi, Unfortunately I can’t see the errors on your dev site, the category pages redirect to an S2Member login page. Have you tested with just EE active and all other plugins deactivated? |
|
Not sure what happened, but after reactivating EE the category pages seem OK now. I will keep an eye out and hopefully you won’t hear from me about this again (fingers crossed :)). Thanks for looking anyway. |
Great. Let us know if we can do anything else. |
