Hello,
I recently got an email about our site having fatal errors in what seems to be our registration. Additionally, even before the fatal erros, I’ve been having a problem with our Event Expresso Registration Form. Even though I may mark a question required, customers are not having to fill out fields (most importantly “name”) to move on in the process. I have listed the errors below.

An error of type E_ERROR was caused in line 748 of the file /home2/dejahueart/public_html/wp-content/plugins/event-espresso-core-reg/caffeinated/admin/extend/registration_form/Extend_Registration_Form_Admin_Page.core.php. Hi,

It appears that the system questions on your site have been severely edited. Normally, when EE is first installed, it adds 10 system. Your site has 4, and one of them isn’t even a system question (Birthdate).

If you go to your site’s Event Espresso > Registration Form page, are there any questions moved to Trash?

There is nothing in the trash on the page. Prior to the last 6 months or so, it ran fine, but I had to upgrade the EE and it hasn’t been quite the same since. I am also having trouble getting the calendar to display its images on a mobile view without having the end-user rotate the phone.

At some point those questions were modified and that’s what’s causing the problems. An update will not remove system questions.

What you’ll likely need to do is restore the System questions to their defaults. These could be imported from a fresh install of Event Espresso from another site, or from a database backup from your site just after Event Espresso was first installed.

The affected tables that need to be restored include:
wp_esp_question
wp_esp_question_group
wp_esp_question_group_question

Someone likely would have needed to directly manipulate the database to get those tables into the state they’re in now, so if that’s what happened maybe they can restore things back to the way they were.

With regards to your Calendar question, please see this from the Calendar add-on documentation:
