Hi, I received a fatal error and now my site is down and I am unable to access my WP login:

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare espresso_version() (previously declared in /wp-content/plugins/event-espresso-core-reg/espresso.php:46) in /wp-content/plugins/event-espresso/espresso.php on line 35

Can someone help me with this?

Also, when the tables are integrated into my site they are all showing up blank, all white and out of format. If I select all, i can see it all. How do I change this?

Hi there Paul,

Did you have an existing version of Event Espresso running and then you tried to activate another version?

You can’t run multiple versions at the same time.

Please login to your WordPress site with an SFTP or FTP client.

Then browse to this location:

wp-content/

Rename the plugins folder from plugins to plugins1

Then try to login to your WordPress admin.

Return to your FTP or SFTP client and restore the name of the WP Plugins folder from plugins1 back to plugins.

Return to your WordPress admin and go to Plugins. Then reactivate your existing plugins.
