We have two locations that are using EE4 with Stripe: https://nuttyscientists.com/dublinsouth/ and https://nuttyscientists.com/kerry/ and both are getting a lot (over half) of their registrations who are having card payment processing issues. Is there something in the EE settings we need to check aside from the general connection (shows as connected right now)?
Looks like kerry doesn’t currently have any active EE events to test registrations on but I had a look at dublinsouth and can see the site is using Stripe Checkout, which has been deprecated by Stripe and is considered legacy.
Stripe checkout doesn’t support 3D Secure which may be why those payments are failing.
Go to Event Espresso -> Payment methods -> Stripe.
Change the ‘Integration Type’ to Stripe Elements and run a test registration to confirm the payment fields show during checkout, or run a test payment in dubug mode using Stripe elements.
To run a test payment you’ll need to disconnect Stripe, set Debug mode to be enabled in the payment method, reconnect, run a test payment and confirm it works, then disconnect again, disable Debug mode and reconnect once again.
Then see if you still have issues with payments when using that integration.
