Hey folks. I’ve been holding off on submitting a topic and waning through the forums for a similar issue. We’re using AWS/Apache/MySQL.

Whats going on?
When there are failed registrations/transactions, registration emails (and probably all EE emails) fail to send. They are backed up in the queue and will send once I remove the failed entries. WooCommerce emails continue to send.

The issue is happening over and over again and the solution I have found is to delete the failed registrations.

Has this been seen before?

Is it accounted for anywhere in the roadmap?

Has it been fixed in the latest minor version?

Every couple weeks I hear from our client that uses EE4 that this continues to happen, and like I said before it’s not hard for us to delete the records, it’s just not a good solution to present to them as I don’t believe this is expected functionality.

Thanks much, Jared

Josh

Hi Jared,

It may help to go to Event Espresso > Messages > Message Settings and set the the option for emails to be sent on the same request.

Thank you Josh!

I made the change and *fingers-crossed* it works. We should know pretty quickly as the issue did arise 3-4 times at least. Appreciate your fast response.

Cheers!
