Hi I have an issue with the extra attendees on event espresso. e.g if someone registers and purchases 3 tickets for an event. 1 for themselves (tom Smith) 1 for john Smith and 1 for james smith. They only see 1 ticket in their account. It is a bit confusing for customers who want to login and print their tickets off |

Hi there, The reason for this relates to your other question in that the My Events section only shows registrations that are linked to the user contact. However, in this case, because the current user is part of the group registration you can pull any other registrations in that group and also display them in the list. For that you can use this template: https://gist.github.com/Pebblo/54707c59d09185e16e1e15f35ba3765c Save that template to the root directory of your site’s theme (preferably a child theme), it will override the current template and should include all of the above registrations in the list. |

Thats perfect. thank you. Why is this feature not in the core build of EE? |

Same reasons as the above, the original design for the My Events section was to show you registrations linked to your contact, not registrations linked to the contact + others in the group + any other registrations that account made. Eventually, you may switch to tracking all registrations (or possibly another add-on for it) but its likely that will only work from registrations made after that add-on/feature was added, not previous registrations. |

Another related is that if a member logs back into their account and tries to buy a ticket for somebody else. when they chnage the name it changes primary registrant. Is there a workaround for this? I can give you access to the site if you like to see what I mean |

No need, I know what you are referring to and it’s the same issue as here: https://eventespresso.com/topic/buy-tickets-for-other-people/ If they purchase tickets for someone else those registrations will not show on their account currently, the only reasons you call pull the group registrations above (which aren’t linked to the account either) is because the user has a registration in the group. |
