I’m trying to export a filtered event list with approved registrations only, but I keep getting this error:

“The resource you are looking for has been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable.”

Our goal is to export individual lists and format registration lists for event facilitators.

Thanks!

Hi there,

There are multiple ways to filter your registration list, so can you add the steps you are taking to get to the above, please?

As you are exporting individual list, I assume it something like:

Event Espresso -> Events -> {hover over event} -> Registrations.

Then setting the Reg Status on the filters and clicking filter?

You then get the above error when clicking the ‘Filtered CSV Report’ button?

If so, do you see a progress bar and then see the above error or as soon as you click the button?

Yes, that is how I am exporting the list. I do not see a progress bar above the error. As soon as I click the button, it goes right to the error.

If I export all registrations I get the progress bar. So, it seems that it’s just the filtered results that are giving us some issues.

Hmm, ok.

So when you get to this point:

Event Espresso -> Events -> {hover over event} -> Registrations.

Don’t filter the registrations by status and still click ‘Filter CSV Report’, does it work then? (At the point the filter export should be exactly the same as the normal export)

If that works then I suspect the issue if the query string length, if gets significantly longer when you apply filters onto the table and your server may be rejecting the URL.

Any errors in your logs around the same time you try the above?

It did export when I do not apply a filter.

I’m not sure how to check error logs – sorry.

Ok, so that’s a good indication that your likely hitting a limit on the server set on query string length.

Can I take a look at the request to see if anything stands out? I think you’ll likely need to contact your host to fix this but I’ll happily check the request if you can send temp login details?

If so, you can use this form:
