Hi! |
Hi Mark, We currently do not have an option to export EE event data from Event Espresso so you can’t, at least not without writing your own custom output to create a CSV. |
But EE3 has the ability to do it and EE4 is the advanced version so obviously it supposed to do this !! |
EE4 is not actually ‘the advanced version of EE3’, it’s a totally different/new system that doesn’t have every feature EE3 does. Currently, EE4 does not have an event export/import feature so you can not export events to CSV without your own custom coding. |
thanks for Your reply. |
If EE4 is not the advanced version of EE3 then may I know that whether EE3 updates are also available or not? And the EE3 is now compatible with the current version of WordPress or not? |
I browse the support forum and I found different opinions given by the people about the 3rd party export plugin that support custom post types. So If you suggest any 3rd party plugin to do this would be better for us. |
I also use WP ALL EXPORT – SIMPLE & POWERFUL XML / CSV EXPORT PLUGIN but it didn’t fulfill my requirement. |
EE3 is now our ‘legacy’ version and only receives security/critical updates moving forward as all new developments will be with EE4.
Currently, we have no known issues with EE3 and the latest version of WP 5.7 Having said that I don’t recommend switching to EE3 due to #1 above.
It really depends on the data you need if that will work, for anything more than the event title and other ‘post’ related details you’ll need custom development for that plugin to export EE specific details, so I can’t recommend a 3rd part plugin currently.
You haven’t posted the data you require but again you’ll likely need custom development. |
