export a selection for registration report

Is there a way for me to export selected registrations? Also is there a way to filter by event? So only that event shows up. All I am getting is Select Month/Year, All Categories, and Select Status.

No.

Also is there a way to filter by event?

Yes, under the Event column there in the Registrations list table, you click on View Registrations. This will filter the view to show registrations for only that event.
