Dear Event espresso, We would like to try your system but we would like to see some good examples of it and how it works. The demos that you have provided are not very clear and some of them have migrated to ticket platforms like zerve.com and http://www.ticketbooth.com.au/ Looking forward to your reply. Kind Regards |
Hi Peter, How are you today? What type of events are you looking for or what is your use-case so we can try to find some examples? You are correct, Event Espresso is a plugin not a theme. |

Hi Garth, Happy 4th of Jully, We are live music promoter in UK and sometimes other European countries. We do 5 + shows a year and use ticketweb.co.uk and fikket.com Kind Regards, Peter |

Hi Peter, I’m not aware personally of music promoters using Event Espresso, but I’m pretty sure there are, our software supports a wide variety of markets. I am sure Garth will find some examples. To answer the other question, currently only iPad, iPhone and Android devices can scan, we do not support other scanning devices at this time. |

Thank you Dean, Can a promoter have the android app installed on few devices for simultaneous checks at the door for the same event? Imagine there are 800 tickets to be checked by 4 people for a short period of time at the same time. Kind Regards Peter |

Hi, Yes it can be installed on multiple devices simultaneously. It’s very hard for us to recommend a theme, as there are so many and they vary in use and quality. Hosting wise, we do not recommend GoDaddy. Hostgator and Bluehost are pretty good. I personally tend to use American services (cheaper with the exchange rate) so I am not aware of which UK hosts are good. Please read the requirements page – https://eventespresso.com/requirements/ and the known conflicts page https://eventespresso.com/wiki/known-third-party-plugin-theme-conflicts/ |

Hello again, Could you please show us some well functioning sites with EE. We’ve been looking for couple of days now but cannot seem to find much on your demo section as well as on the internet. Having a nice website demo would be very beneficial for EE. Many of the demos are not using EE as well. Please convince us. Kind Regards |

Hello Peter, Sorry that no one has come back to you regarding this. Have you checked out our showcase https://eventespresso.com/showcase/? I took a look and I believe they are all still using Event Espresso. You can also check out out test drive page https://eventespresso.com/product/full-event-espresso-test-drive/ And you can download the “lite” version for free which has the same basic structure, but with only basic functionality http://wordpress.org/plugins/event-espresso-free/ |

We have used this on a few sites and I plan on switching out a few more of my clients systems too. This site uses it for both event ticketing, daily admissions and memberships http://www.fortedmontontickets.com/ This one is a little more simplistic but uses the tool in a similar way http://www.getcookingedmonton.com/class-list/. Lots of cool features we haven’t even tapped into yet but will. Highly recommend Event Espresso and the support is second to none. |
Hi Trevor, Thanks for sharing the links and the kind words. |
