I want to create events where the event requires ticket purchase and registration of a time slot. 1 person per time slot, in 30 minute intervals over a fixed period of time. |
Hi there, To do that within Event Espresso you would need a ticket for each of those time slots which the user would need to select. So you’d have a ticket for say 9am – 9:30am, then another for 9:30-10:00am and so on. Can users purchase multiple timeslots within a single event? You mention a single person per timeslot, but could a user book say 9:30-10am and 1-1:30pm in a single selection? |

Thank you for the response, I ended up figuring it out myself but was hoping for a more elegant solution. Users cannot book multiple time slots at one event. It appears to be working as I need to it, it’s just a lot of work to create a ticket for each slot. The event does not show up in the calendar or list of events, would that be due to the way I had to ticket the event? |
No, the ticket structure shouldn’t make any difference. Is the event published? Can you link me to the event? |

Here is the link to the event; http://www.southshoregolf.net/index.php/events/mizuno-fitting-day/ Here is the link to the events list |
That calendar is not the EE Events Calendar, it’s from another plugin. The default slug for EE events is /events/ but the output for that endpoint is being overridden by the other plugin. If you create a new test page (call it anything) and add [ESPRESSO_EVENTS] to that page you’ll see the EE calendar. Are you using the other events plugin currently, if not, disable it and flush your permalinks (Dashboard -> Settings -> Permalinks -> Save) and view the /events/ endpoint again for the EE event list. |

Thanks, I did as you suggested and now see the EE4 events list. Does EE4 offer a calendar format that can show events for the upcoming month or does it just provide a list of events? |
Without creating custom theme template files, the /events/ endpoint will be a list of events. You can create a new page and add the (Note that changing the slug will mean your events now list on the new slug, and single events will be available on /{new-slug}/{event-name}) |
