Hello,

I am calling the events on my website ‘Seminars’. I have created a page called seminars to show the Calendar of the events.
How can I change the URL for all events to go to the seminars page showing the caleandar instead of events? I don’t want them to see the events list page, they need to see the calendar when they go back and click on the link at the bottom of the single event page also.
I have followed a previous post about a function to rename events/workshops but it kept on giving cache errors in my WordPress.

Thank you in advance.

Regards,
Jhorene

Hi,

The default /events/ page is part of the core plugin and can’t be dropped. However, you could rename it to something else by using this:

https://eventespresso.com/wiki/change-events-cpt-slug/

If you are have issues, then try clearing your cache through your plugin and then applying the change. Then refresh permalinks again.

Hi Lorenzo,

Thank you for the reply. How do I clear my cache through my plugin?

Hi,

If you have followed the https://eventespresso.com/wiki/change-events-cpt-slug/ guide, after doing so go to Settings > Permalinks and just press save. This will “flush” your permalinks, allowing you to see the new custom post type name.
