I am using the addon Events Table View Template. I am using the template espresso-events-table-template-toggle.template.php which works fine but no description is being fetched/shown.
The shortcode I am using:
[ESPRESSO_EVENTS_TABLE_TEMPLATE template_file=espresso-events-table-template-toggle.template.php footable=true category_slug=badminton category_filter=false table_search=false table_style=standalone table_paging=false show_all_datetimes=true reg_button_text=’Kursdetails’]

Usually this sort of thing happens if there’s an empty space input into the Event’s excerpt field. That’s the first thing to check, and you can make sure there’s no empty spaces there by inputing some content into the Excerpt field, or hit the delete button a few times in that field, then update the event.
Don’t see an excerpt field in the event editor? You can make it display by clicking on the Screen options tab, then check the box next to the Excerpt option.

The excerpt field is completly empty. I never touched it. In fact, I even thought mabye only the excerpt field will be shown and not the full description so I populised it. Neither way, filled or empty, nothing is show.

When you view the event does it show a description?

If you go to Event Espresso -> Events -> Templates -> Event List Pages -> ‘Display Description’.
Is that currently set to None?
