Events Table View Template (EE 4.4.9+) Seemed to Stop Working. I’m using EE version 4.9.82.p. Can you help? We’re losing business!! Thank you!

It’s evident there’s a PHP fatal error happening when the template loads. Is there by chance a custom template loading for that add-on? If so, its code likely needs an update. If no custom templates, then it’s a simple fix: You update the Events Table View Template add-on to its current version.

Thanks, Josh. There is no custom template. Please tell me how to update the Table View Template Add-On. I can’t find it in a plug-in search.

Obviously, I see it among my installed plugins, but my only option there is Deactivate.
I’m in a bit of a panic, because of loss of business. Just wondering what to do next.

Does your site have plugin updates turned off? If so, you’ll need to either allow plugin updates or manually update the plugin (download a fresh copy from your eventespresso.com account page and install that after removing the old version).
If there’s any chance there’s any customizations made to either the Events Table View Template plugin or there’s a custom template loading from somewhere, you could check the site’s PHP error log to find the source of the error.

I was wrong. There is a custom template. Thanks to your help, I uploaded the new version of the Table View Template, but nothing changed. We found this error in the last line of the error log: #5 /wp-includes/shortcodes.php(199): preg_replace_callback(‘/\\[(\\[?)(ESPRES…’, ‘do_s in /wp-content/themes/Avada-child/espresso-events-table-template.template.php on line 72
We can send the entire template file, if that helps.
Needless to say, the page is still broken, and we can’t figure out why it has been working all along and now won’t. Thanks for your help, as always!

We found the error!! All fixed now. It was in the custom template. Thank you again for all your help!!
