Hi Team,

We are using the Events Table View Template plugin (v1.3.9.p) on a website. It displays an incorrect time on the event table page:

https://www.uplandhillshealth.org/uhh-events/

Look at the first event on the above link.

Event: Safe Sitter Class
Date & Time: June 13, 2022 9:00 am – 3:30 pm

But the date is shown as June 13, 2022 2:00 pm on the Events Table View page. The correct time displays on the admin side and the event details page:

https://www.uplandhillshealth.org/events/safe-sitter-class/

We tried resolving this issue by changing the timezone in the WordPress General Settings, but it didn’t work.

Could you please look into this problem and help us in solving this problem?

Thanks,
-Mohamed

Hi there,

We tried resolving this issue by changing the timezone in the WordPress General Settings, but it didn’t work.

May I ask what you originally had the timezone set to and what did you you change it to?

Have you saved the event since changing the timezone?

Usually, when this happens it is because something is changing the default timezone on the server using date_default_timezime_set() to change the severs timezone to something other than UTC (which is what WordPress expects it to be).

Do you have any other plugins installed on the site that deals with dates/times at all?

Hi there,

My apologies for the delayed reply, Joao asked if I can take a look into this.

It does indeed look like something else is changing the server’s timezone here which means that when WP applies the offset it basically applies it twice.

Do you have a staging/development copy of the site anywhere? To troubleshoot this you’ll need to deactivate plugins on the site to find the cause, that is the best done on a copy of the site so it does not cause issues with your visitors.
