Hi,

When someone adds an event to their cart and goes to the checkout the event they selected is redirecting to a completely different event.

For example, when you click “add to cart” on this event: https://www.exeteroutdoors.co.uk/exmouthforestschool/event-registration/?ee=245 it redirects to a “Holiday Club” event on the event registration page – please could you let me know why this is happening?

Thanks
Chris

Hi Chris,

Do you currently have an active support license? The account you are currently logged into does not have any license.

It is not the redirect that is causing this, the problem is your cart page has been cached with that event within the cart (likely when the first user selected that event WP-Super-Cache cached the returned page and is now serving it to all users)

In an incognito/private window go to this link:

https://www.exeteroutdoors.co.uk/exmouthforestschool/event-registration/?regevent_action=show_shopping_cart

Notice it shows the event? None have been selected and your session is clear within a new incognito window.

You’ll need clear the cache within WP-Super-Cache (simply disabling the plugin does not clear the cache) then set up WP-Super-Cache to exclude the EE3 critical pages from the cache.

If you need further assistance with this you’ll need an active support license, if you currently do not have one you can purchase them here:
