When viewing our Camps page we have many events so it requires they click the 1..2..3…4….5 (those are page numebrs) on the pagination numbers after 10 events have been viewed. Well, NOW, after the update, regardless of what page number they click, they remain on page 1. Here is the website page to view the error. Please scroll all the way down to see the pagination numbers and then look at the link address in address bar after clicking. This is URGENT error since we have people trying to enroll who can’t see all camps now. see https://artsyrose.com/ and go to the camps page or the youth classes page (any title of classes) and scroll to bottom to click pagination numbers. Hi Jarred, May I ask what’s the shortcode you have there on that page? |
Hi, I have shortcodes on multiple different pages with same issue for pagination with events. For the Art Camps page, the shortcode is: [ESPRESSO_EVENTS category_slug=”summer-art-camps”] |
The issue only started since latest update. We’ve been using EE since January 2015 and the pagination has always worked. |
Should I just purchase priority support? this is very very urgent. Visitor can only see first page of camps which means we are losing money currently. Please advise |
Can you try removing the double quotes from the shortcode, then update the page? |
I removed the quotes and same problem still exists. |
I also cleared the cache just to be certain. And this address https://artsyrose.com/camps/page/2/ still looks the same as this address https://artsyrose.com/camps |
Can you complete the form on this page: https://eventespresso.com/send-login-details/ We’d like to investigate further because we’re not seeing any issues with events pagination on our testing sites. |
Okay I just submitted the form. The password for the FTP account showed me little dots, but hopefully it shows up for you. Thanks |
Also please note, I changed the shortcode back to include the quotes since it didnt help the situation. “summer-art-camps” is the original way the shortcode has always been and worked.. Thanks for your help and let me know what else you need from me. |

I’m not so sure it was the update that broke the pagination on your site. It may be a plugin conflict that we’re not aware of. I changed the limits on the two pages where the pagination was kicking in so that all the events load (instead of a maximum of 10, then the pagination links kick in). |

Hi Josh, a few things. First, thanks for the quick fix. It has always worked perfectly just fine with 10 events, and then pagination for the rest of the pages. The problem ONLY started for the first time in TWO years, since I updated to the latest version of EE.. So, I must have it working again like it has for 2 years to ensure my page rankings and page speed stay up at the top. Please advise how we can make this happen. Is there a new update on the way? Do I need a support token? This is considered a very urgent issue for us. I didn’t add any new plugins, all I did was update EE and the problem started. Im thankful for the quick fix, but I can’t rely on quick fixes to be a good long term solution. Please advise what I can do to help you or someone on the team find a permanent fix to make it work like it always has for 2 years. Thank you |
You’re welcome, and if we can come up with a non-quick fix solution it will be included in a future release. |

What did you edit? We are having the same issue. |
If you are using the [ESPRESSO_EVENTS] shortcode you can use the For example |
Update: The issue with paging is fixed and the fix is included in Event Espresso 4.9.41.p. You can update your site so it has the latest version of Event Espresso 4 by going to the WordPress > Plugins page, then you click on the update link. |
