Just upgraded to latest version 4. I can edit events, but if you click view the resulting page shows jumbled. I can see events in calendar widget, but when you click through calendar to event the resulting page shows jumbled.
Things I have tried:
created new registration page with shortcode
reset permalinks
disabled all the plugins that I could
switched theme to 2015
nothing has helped.
I never had a problem with version 3.

Hi Gerald,
Event Espresso 4 uses your sites theme to output the event data.
Can you try temporarily switching to one of the default themes such as twentyfourteen? You can do this without actually changing the theme in user for users using the plugin Theme Test Drive which allows you to ‘test’ a theme whilst leaving your current theme active.
Then with one of the default themes does the same happen?

Ok I tried this last night with 2015 and did not work. I did download Theme test Drive and I can click through to event page with 2014 and 2015 but, when I go to register the registration page only shows the shortcode [ESPRESSO_CHECKOUT].
Using 2015:
I even deactivated all plugins except theme test drive and no luck. Seems like there is something else going on here.

The [ESPRESSO_CHECKOUT] shortcode is actually a separate issue and happens with your current theme too:

Can you edit that page, make no changes and just update it. Then go to Event Espresso -> General Settings -> Critical Pages. Then Click save. Does that page then work correctly?
With 2015 did the /events/ page work as expected?

I did resave the page and went back to critical pages and resaved it. The clicking through the calendar to the events page works in 2015, the registration is an issue now.

I think I have narrowed it down. Issue is either with how I am using Headway with i
Themes Loop buddy or just Loop Buddy. Taking a break now to clear my head and start troubleshooting again. I will update this when I find the culprit.
