Hi Daniel, I’ll follow up with your questions below:
How many events are in the system? You might benefit from updating to the latest version of Event Espresso, and it may also help to increase the amount of memory available to WordPress: http://codex.wordpress.org/Editing_wp-config.php#Increasing_memory_allocated_to_PHP
This may or may not be related to Event Espresso. If it is, it may be caused by the page settings in Event Espresso>General settings not being set to the pages that have the Event Espresso shortcodes. I’d check there first.
This isn’t likely an Event Espresso related issue. You might find some answers for this issue here: http://wordpress.org/support/topic/doing_wp_cron http://wordpress.org/support/topic/wp-super-cache-causes-high-doing_wp_cron-load |

Re #1: Our host can’t increase the memory limit for our site overall, but could do it on a single or few files. Could you tell us which is the script which needs larger memory limit and we will try to increase the limit for it? Thanks! |

FYI – I disabled all plugins and that fixed the issues! Adding them back in one by one shows Gravity Forms was causing the “Warning: array_merge(): Argument #1 is not an array in /home/ietstemp/public_html/wp-includes/post.php on line 2996” error and then making the EE plugin take too long to load and thus not pull any events. I’ve removed Gravity Forms and the issue seems to be resolved. Best wishes~ Daniel |
