I resaved my permalinks- didnt work.
Deactivated all but EE plugins- didn’t work.
Please advise.

Please do not post WordPress admin credentials here in the public forums. This is important because if anyone else were to see those they could gain access to your site.
Anyway, it appears that something on your site is already using events, so the fix is you change the Event slug setting in Event Espresso > Events > Templates. I already changed it to upcoming-events, but you can change it to anything else (other than something already in use e.g. events or event).
You would not be able to update that password had someone else taken over your site and changed your password first.
