Everything worked fine. I moved plugins to a new site, created new events update the new calendar page with the shortcode [ESPRESSO_CALENDAR]. The page comes up showing all categories and venues but NO EVENTS. I checked the forum here for similar problems but none matches my circumstances. Pls help.

Tony, you actually gave me an idea. I created a new page, edited with the fancy Page editor that we normally don’t use. Saved Hooray! It worked. Made this new page the Events Calendar. Not sure where the mystery is, but the new Events Calendar is working now.
When an EE shortcode is used, EE tracks the page it was used on.
There’s a few reasons we do this but one is so we can enqueue the assets needed, only on the pages that need them without a bunch of additional processing on page load. For whatever reason, it sounds like the tracking for you page was lost, re-creating the page save the ID of the new page and now EE loads the assets on that page.
I’m not sure why that’s happened here (it’s common with page builders as the shortcodes aren’t always added to the content itself) but glad you found a work around.
