Hello, We have recently updated our support license for the Everything support license with Lorenzo in June. We had been in previous contact with him about events not showing up on our page after the update. It was solved when we realized the HTTPS boxes were not checked after the update. We are still missing events appearing on the following page: Art Classes; School Year Classes; Port Orchard tab. On the back-end the page DOES appears as a https and the events are there. When I open our website in another browser, the page opens as a http and the events do not appear. Please help… |
Hi Vickie, May I ask are you using an out-of-date plugin to force the pages to be https? If so, then I can recommend using this plugin instead: https://wordpress.org/plugins/really-simple-ssl/ If you can post a link to one of the pages that’s missing the events we can investigate further. |

Hi Josh, We are using WordPress HTTPS version 3.3.6 an Simple Custom CSS version 3.3. Here is the link to the page with the events not showing up: http://www.kitsapart.com/port-orchard/ Very strange… The HTTPS consistently appears when I look at it from by back-end. But, when I open a new browser to check the website, I sometimes get this: https://www.kitsapart.com/port-orchard/ and the events appear the first time. If I close that tab and try it again in the same browser it comes up with the http and the events do not appear. ??? Thank you for looking. Vickie |
Hi Vickie, We recommend deactivating the WordPress HTTPS version 3.3.6 plugin and then you can install the Really Simple SSL plugin to use instead. The Really Simple SSL plugin is available from your WordPress site’s Plugins > Add New page. |

We deactivate HTTPS plugin and installed Really Simple SSL plugin and it made our website go crazy. So I reinstalled HTTPS and created new pages on the events that were not appearing. The events ARE appearing when our website is opened in Chrome or FireFox. The events are NOT appearing when the website is opened in Internet Explorer (and the page continues to show up as a http not https. Any thoughts? |
In what way? The ‘craziness’ may be another symptom of the problem. Using IE, I consistently see 3 events (same events shown in Chrome) and the page loads using HTTPS for me. It should not matter, but are you logged in when viewing with IE? |

Hi Tony, The “craziness” I mentioned was almost every page was missing things or rearranged. Logo was missing on “Home” page, all classes were missed on “Art Classes” page, etc. |
May I ask which version of IE are you using? |
