That’s actually output by your sites theme rather than Event Espresso.
To explain, the Event List is actually an Archive of the EE events posts, so when you visit /events/ your theme uses its archive.php template file (if it has one) to output the list and EE hooks in to output the event details on that page.
Most themes do some form of ‘is_archive()’ check and if the current display is an archive add a ‘Archives’ title to the page.
Does your theme provide options to change the archives header? Some themes provide a section in the theme options to change this.
