This has been randomly happening and we cannot figure out why. Events are randomly marked as closed (even though there are spaces available).

Hi there,

‘Closed’ events or tickets?

Can you link me to one of the events so I can take a look?

You can mark your reply as private if preferred (only EE staff can view private replies).

That table output isn’t from Event Espresso, the only output we have similar to that page is the table view template, but that doesn’t appear to be using that add-on unless it’s a completely custom template for it.

Its referring to a ‘closed’ datetime status (we don’t have a closed status) so I’m assuming its using the first DateTime on an event and if thats expired, its showing close.

Which event, should the first event listed in those tables link to?

The ESTIMATING IN BUILDING CONSTRUCTION in Atlanta, GA, which EE event should that direct the user to?

As you can see when you click on that event, it’s not ‘closed’, that output is controlled by Event Espresso.

Can you edit that event and post a screenshot of the ‘Event Tickets & Datetimes’ section for that event?

https://eventespresso.com/wiki/troubleshooting-checklist/#screenshots

I assume there is better method to display the data here that utilizes the plugin?

Not if the site owner want’s that specific format.

The closet we have for a table output is the Events Table: https://eventespresso.com/product/eea-events-table-view-template/

But that will need some customizations to the template to match the current layout.

Hmm, ok so it’s not an expired DateTime on a single event then.

You’ll need to take a look at whatever the code is doing on that archive output as I can’t tell from the output alone.

Does the theme have a archive-espresso_events.php template file? If so can you add the contents of that to Pastebin and add the link here so I can view that?

(Note that we don’t provide support for custom code, if something sticks out when viewing it I can let you know but if not we would require a support token to troubleshoot further as it’s not our code)
