Here is my site when we post an avent and try to veiw it it goes to a 404 page. Please help > http://freedomnightlife.com/ |
Hi Shane, Could you go to your WordPress dashboard and then find Settings in the admin menus and click on Permalinks? Then resave the existing settings. Then try to view an event. If it doesn’t work, then please try temporarily deactivating all plugins and reactivating only Event Espresso and then repeat the permalinks steps above. Let us know if this helps and please be sure to reactivate each of your plugins after testing. — |

It has been tried the only way they work is when it is default permalinks but i would like them seo urls. Please tell me how to fix this |
Hi Shane, I checked your site and the https headers say it’s running on an nginx server. Normally nginx will support WP custom permalinks out of the box, can you check with your host to see if they have configured the server to all WordPress custom permalinks? |

can i give you the login info and ftp? |
|
Hi, Did you check with your host to see if there are any unusual settings? If the “post name” permalink isn’t working, even after clearing your permalinks (by saving them) then it is possible that there is either a server level issue or perhaps an .htaccess issue. |
|
it doesn’t make sense is this problem with the host because when I turn on pretty links everything works fine except for espresso events. |
|
Is it possible to get your login details in order to look into this? If so, please send them via https://eventespresso.com/send-login-details/ NOTE: login details need to be Admin level and FTP details are appreciated. |
Hi Shane, I understand that you don’t think it makes any sense to check with your host, but please do check. We have Event Espresso running on other servers that run nginx with no issues with Permalinks (like on WPEngine). Along with that, we could take a look at the admin if you can send credentials that work. The username you sent is invalid. |
