Question:
While I was still testing some stuff in EE4 on my (online) testing server I installed EE4 on the website where it will actually run and entered the Support License Key. Is it posssible that EE4 is currently not working on my testing site because I entered the SLK on the live site?
If so: is there a way to reverse this and continue testing on the testing site?
Background:
I have a test environment where I want to test EE4. I installed Event Espresso and started testing. This went quite well until this morning. First I thought I made an error and started removing the plugin and reinstalling it…. and ended removing the whole WordPress installation (incl database and files) and setup everything again.. Still nothing: the website works but every view from EE4 presents a blank screen…
So then I started wondering about the above question.
The support key has no effect on an Event Espresso installation’s functionality. The breakage you’re seeing may be from a missing PHP file or something and you can find out the cause of the blank screen by turning on WP_DEBUG.
