I took a look and it’s actually the display of the datetime information and the View Details buttons that are duplicated. Can you check to see if there was any custom code added to your WordPress theme’s archives template for displaying events? The newer versions of Event Espresso use a filter to allow re-ordering the different parts of the event display. Your archive template may need to be updated.
If you’d like help with updating the template files, you can post the code in a pastebin or gist and someone from support staff can offer suggestions on what to change.
You can fix the issue you’re seeing by either a) removing the espresso templates from the theme folder or b) updating the espresso templates in the theme folder so they match the current version of Event Espresso’s templates located in the /public/ folder of the Event Espresso plugin.
