After upgrade, events are not showing up in the event overview. They show up in the registration list, but I cannot open or edit them. |
I have made an urgent request to the developers to look into it and we will get a fix released as soon as possible. My apologies for this, it should not have happened. |
Hi – yes please. This has given clients huge heart attacks!! We were about to roll back the Server to last Friday to recover our apparently lost registrations … Please fix and update us asap – thanks! |
@Tradeunion – are your clients using the free version or the premium? If premium which version please. I have submitted a critical ticket to get this looked at when the developers wake up (US time) |
premium version |
sorry – Premium version – Version 3.1.31.3.P |
Thank you, I will advise the developers on this. |
can you post any updates here also (as I’m at a different address to the client’s email) – thanks! |
Hi Sera and tradeunion trading, We’ve tested this and could not reproduce events disappearing from the event overview in the paid version. The lite version that had the issue has been fixed and updated at wordpress.org. When you are in the Event Overview, are you filtering the events? In order to see all the events at one time, you’ll need to adjust the filters. In many cases setting the status filter to “Show Active/Inactive” will show all the events. If there more than 50 events in the system you’ll need to select more than 50 rows and hit the retrieve button, or hit the “Next 50 Rows” button. |

Thanks! Everything seems to be working fine now! |
Sera, Can you let us know whether you’re on the lite version or the paid version? There seems to be some confusion because this was posted in the lite version’s forums. |
Yes, sorry, I upgraded to Pro today, so the problem was in the lite version only. |
Hi. Sorry for posting in wrong area – I saw an apparently identical problem and posted there. I was having problems and clicked Reset Filters (just in case). I thought this would show all – BUT then I re-read your Show Active/Inactive and this was the problem! thanks! 🙂

@tradenuion Hi, thanks for getting back to us, glad that it was not an issue with the premium side, though I think the developers had already ruled out the premium version being affected. |
I’m glad I found this in the forum. I was having the same issue. I think the reason this raises alarm bells is that the default view has changed. It now *defaults* to “Active” events only in the filter, and the “filters” display above lists only the number of “Active” events, though it says “All Events.” A default setting change like that should be made note of! Especially, when there’s no way to set the default back to “Active/Inactive.” Given that the dashboard is where users add and edit events, not displaying “draft” events by default in the list adds extra clicks, and I hope you consider reverting to displaying all by default. After all, when I go to a complete list, I don’t expect to have to filter things in, I expect to filter things *out.* |

I am using the free version and I can not see any filters. My last events disappeared from the overview but they are there cause a) if I export all the events I see them b) I can see the events in my page! What can I do? I have classes running every week. I might consider buying a premium license if I could be sure that it can solve the problem.. |

Hi Federica, Have you updated to the latest version of Lite – 3.1.31.3.3.L ? There was a fix for this for you. The issue didnt affect the premium version, the way the events were shown changed slightly causing some confusion. |
Hi Dean thanks for your reply. I had the Lite 3.1.31.3.3.L downloaded from the repository, but today I decided to purchase a Personal Licence. I hope it will fix it. Thanks |
