Hi

I want a user, who is not the site admin, to be be able to admin events as well. However the user roles, apart from the site admin, does not show the Espresso Events options.

How can I achieve this please?

Hi there,

You’ll need a custom role for the above.

I’ve previously created a plugin that adds 2 new roles to the site which should work for you here: https://monosnap.com/file/qUKeT73ASIAzTRUNX6Hlb1J59vMWgz

You install that plugin, activate it and then de-activate and delete is as the roles are saved to the database.

That plugin adds 2 new roles:

Event Organizer – only has access to EE events (and the related data) where that have been set to the author.

Events Manager – has full access to Event Espresso itself, but no other section of your WP Dashboard.
