Dear Team,
We are using EventEspresso for our event registrations: http://www.swiss-risk.org/events
Now we have a partner event that we are promoting on our website, but we don’t want to register people on our website, they have to use a separate link. I have added this link in the ticket settings, so its only visible for our members. How can I set the registration timelines, so that non of the statuses “on sale”, “sold out” or “expired” is shown?
At the moment I have set the date in the past, so nobody accidently registers. But I would like to get rid of the “expired” status.
You go to edit the event, and in the “Event Registrations Options” box, you’ll find a setting “Display Ticket Selector”. You’ll set that option to No. Then you’ll click the “Update” button.
Hi Josh, thank you. Your solution works, but then the restricted content, that is only availabe for members does not show anymore: I have added the registration link in the ticket settings, so its only visible for our members (the link is only available for members). Any solution for this case?
So you want to show the link to logged in users and not to any logged out user?
If so, you could just add the link to the event description and use something like Restrict Content (the free version should do what you need) to wrap them in a shortcode so it is hidden for logged out users.
Would that work for you?
