Hi EE Support,

I am trying to display this type of information in a long list of events (all non-closed events within a category):

Event Title | Event Start – Event End | Registration Start – Reg End

I’d like to display this in a table, too, if possible. Not required, though.

Can this be done with EVENT_LIST?

Will I have to write my own shortcode? If so, what is the best way to go about this? Which functions, hooks, & filters should I be looking at?

Or, what other options do you suggest?

Thanks for your help on this!

Hi Andy,

One option would be to remove the elements you don’t want displayed from the event_list_display.php template, then convert the HTML markup from being a list to a table. You can copy event_list_display.php over to your WordPress theme and it will load from there (and not be overwritten when you update Event Espresso).

Another option is to use one of the readymade templates we offer that work with the Custom templates add-on:
