Just wanted to drop a line that the function event_form_build_edit() does not have if (!function_exists('event_form_build_edit')) {} wrapping it, so if you try and we write it in the custom files addon, it breaks.
Some of the functions that aren’t pluggable (like event_form_build_edit()) were done this way intentionally. The reason being it’s used in more than one place in Event Espresso so if it’s overwritten for one place it may break the functionality where it’s used elsewhere.
If you let us know what you’re looking to customize we may be able to add an action or filter hook to allow for some customization via a custom function.
