Hi – been reading through the support forum and haven’t really found anything that addresses this yet.
What I want is twofold:
1 – really simple listing of event dates for a particular course, done this through [EVENT_ESPRESSO_CATEGORY event_category_id=”2013cpm”]
2 – list only events at a particular venue
I am loathed to create unique event categories based on event/venue because this will become unmanageable – is there a way I can query the database based on category AND venue title? All I need back is the event start and event ID so I can create the link to the registration page.

Hi Mark,
I’d recommend using the [ESPRESSO_VENUE_EVENTS] shortcode to do this. Here’s an usage example that will show all the events that take place at the venue with the ID of 1, and are assigned to the “awesome” event category:
[ESPRESSO_VENUE_EVENTS id=1 category_identifier=awesome]

Also found the “Venue Manager” which helps alot with this task! Have you come across a custom “simple” event_list_display.php – all I need is date and event ID or register link?
