Event without tickets

How do I setup an event withoput tickets. I need to display event details. When I put 0 in the ticket section, the event shows up as sold out and disappear from my upcomming event widget?

You can make an event without tickets by leaving the ticket editor to its defaults, then set the Display Ticket Selector option that appears over to the right column of the page, to No.
