Hi Markus,
EE is based on ‘tickets’ in which the user must select 1 or more ‘tickets’ for an event and then complete a registration form. They don’t need to receive a ‘ticket’ as such or print a physical ticket if you don’t want/need those but they are also available. But if you looking for something to simply dipslay a registration form with no ticket selection first, Event Espresso does not have that available.
They can do that by selecting more than 1 ticket on step one, before they are required to provide details.
We do not have the option for the user themselves to cancel/remove a registration from the group, but they can contact the admin and have them cancel a registration for them. It is possible for users to edit the registration details after they’ve register though, they’ll receive an email with a link they can use for this.
This is not something we have currently, but I’m a little confused by why it would be needed. If they want to attend the event, they register onto a ticket, if they don’t want to attend, they don’t register onto a ticket.
EE has manual reminder you can trigger built into core. Or there’s a beta add-on to automatically send upcoming event reminders which you are welcome to test, which can be found HERE.
Event Espresso is an event/ticket registration management plugin and allows users to manage their own events/tickets. However, the meaning of an event/ticket management platform can be different from one person to the next, so EE will not work for every use case for every user. |
