l.s.
I am trying to find a way to create an event that requires a user to register in advance, but also allows the client to pre-register for one or more of masterclasses and presentations during the event. (5 rooms with different capacity, 1 presentation per hour, each requiring a seperate e-ticket)
I have ee3 running on my website and have installed ee4 on my laptop to see if upgrading would deliver the required functionality, but so far i have been unable to find a solution that satisfies.
Multiple tickets with multiple datetimes attached while allowing for multiple event bookings could be a solution, but if i ask a client to register each ticket as a seperate person i would frustrate many potential clients and also I think it would not allow for adequate counting of registered attendees.
Does anyone have any Idea how to solve this? Buying additional plugins is not a problem, i have sufficient funds. I would, howeever, need a solution that is pretty much out-of the box.
I’m not sure if I fully understand your situation, but with the Multiple Event Registration add-on and Event Espresso 4, your attendees can register for multiple events at the same time. If you anticipate that people will only register themselves for these events, you can only allow people to buy one ticket for each ticket and then turn of asking for personal information from the additional attendees (however there won’t be any of them). 🙂 Your regular attendees can use the little copy tool to use their information in the forms for each ticket.
Does that help?
You might also think about setting the Master class as required.
