Hi! Three questions: 1. Is there an easy way to remove/delete events that have expired/ended, so that the registrant doesn’t see old dates when registering? Currently, the only way to do this is to “Cancel” any registrations applied to the event and then delete the ticket and then the corresponding date time. This requires too many steps and is confusion. 2. I have an event where several of the Tickets are grayed out and locked. If I hover over the lock icon, it says I cannot delete the ticket bc the price and qty changed. They are old dates and would like them to be removed. 3. Is your “automatic event reminder” feature implemented yet? This will be a great tool for us. Your help is greatly appreciated! Thank you! Dalia/Lori |

Hi, The software doesn’t allow for easy deletion of old events (or tickets), but what you can do is change the settings so the old events and old tickets are not displayed. You go to Event Espresso > Events > Templates and set: 3) The automated upcoming event reminder add-on is currently available for beta testing. You can go to your account page, opt in to the pre-release channel, then the automated upcoming event reminder beta will be available for you to download. |

Hi Josh, Thank you for your help! I went in to check on the Display Expired Events and Show Expired Tickets and my options are already set to “No”. Could it be something else? |

Of course, apparently I’m not really clear on where they’d be seeing the old dates when registering. Maybe you can post a link or a link to a screenshot that shows the old dates you’re trying to remove? |

Sure, here is a link to an event page with old dates listed. Again, our settings are “No” for those 2 questions you discussed. https://www.cocciardi.com/events/acm-building-inspector-initial/ Thank you! |

Hi Lori, I checked, and all four of the dates listed there are all future dates: |

My apologies – I used the wrong class. Here you go – here is an example: https://www.cocciardi.com/events/hazmat-technicianspecialistincident-command-refresher/ |

OK, what you can try there is set the ticket sale end dates to match the start date of date the ticket is for. For example, the April 5 ticket’s Sale End Date can be set to April 5 (or even yesterday really). The future dates (like the Oct. 24 ticket) should also have their ticket sale end date set. If applying the appropriate ticket sale end dates does not result in the older tickets being removed from the display, then you’ll need to contact the developer that made the customizations to add support for not showing old tickets. The reason being is because the event page on your site is output by custom code. The standard Event Espresso event page that’s output by the plugin looks much different and has a way to not show expired tickets. |

You’ve been very helpful. Thank you, Josh! |
