I organise 2 markets in 2 locations. I have a number of stall holders who choose a ticket that is relevant to their business. The problem is I want them to be able to choose the dates they can attend with their ticket selection and just fill in the registration form once – not multiple times. Is it possible in event espresso?

What I have done is put one date in the event and put multiple selection dates in the registration/question form. If I use this option, is it possible to resend an invoice and change the date?

OR do I need to purchase an add-on for this to happen

Hi Feast Fest,

You can go to Event Espresso > Registrations, then click to edit the registrations, and there you’ll be able to change the date. Then you click on the Resend Registration button to resend the registration confirmation. The Registration confirmation can include a link to download the invoice, you add this shortcode to the email template:
[INVOICE_LINK]

Hi Josh
Thanks for your response. There is no option to edit the registration. Is it in the OVERVIEW tab? I have a list of some registrations that I have tested with 1 registrant at pending payment and the other at approved. Am I missing something. Is there any documentation on how to do this?
Thanks
Danielle

To make it more clear for you, I have taken off the under construction option on my website to help you understand. The website is http://www.feastfest.com.au. I have 2 events which are located under BECOME A STALL HOLDER where my stall holders register. You will see that there are 2 locations and I have completed them differently. Blacksmiths Beach has all dates listed and Bateau Bay Pub has one date showing. As I said I have listed all dates available in the registration questions.

With the way I have set it out, rather than the stall holder having to register for each event, is it possible to accept them for the first event date and if they are approved for the next event date, resend the invoice with the new event date? Otherwise is there an alternative.

Thanks for your help
Dani

Hi Danielle,

When you view the registrations on the admin Registrations page, you can click on the Name of the attendee and that will take you to a page where you can edit the registration info. Look for the box that says “Registration Form Answers”.

Hi Josh

I didn’t expect an answer so quickly. Thank you. I have now taken off the under construction on my website, http://www.feastfest.com.au so you can view what I am explaining. I don’t want to edit the registration info that the stall holder has put, especially the event dates because that is the dates they have said they can attend our events. Because stall holders can only select the ticket option and cannot select the dates in the initial process before they answer the questions, I have added the dates they can select in the registration/questions so I know what events they can attend. Once the initial event has been finalised, I want to be able to resend them an invoice for the next event date without them having to complete the same registration/questions for each event. Is this possible or is there an add-on plugin where they can select both the ticket option as well as the event date they can attend? Hope this makes sense now.
Dani

Hi Dani,

There is an add-on that can allow for setting up a user account, so the next time they don’t have to complete the same questions for another event after they log into the website. This is the plugin:

https://eventespresso.com/wiki/wp-user-integration/

In addition to the above plugin, a second customization plugin would need to be activated to pull the last question response onto the next event’s form:

https://github.com/eventespresso/ee-code-snippet-library/blob/master/addons/eea-wp-user/mn_wp_user_addon_save_custom_answers_too.php

You can add the above to a functions plugin.

Hi Josh
Thanks for that. Upon viewing the addons available, I have a couple of questions with regard to the following addons.

MULTI EVENT ADD ON

Does the registrant have to pay for all chosen events at once? Can invoices be sent individually for each event?

ATTENDEE MOVER

Would this plugin work for registrants who have registered for the previous event and we just moved them to the next event. Is it possible to then send them an email for them to make payment for the next event?

Thanks
Dani

MULTI EVENT ADD ON
Does the registrant have to pay for all chosen events at once? Can invoices be sent individually for each event?

All of the events will fall under a single transaction so EE will expect payment in full for all events.

ATTENDEE MOVER
Would this plugin work for registrants who have registered for the previous event and we just moved them to the next event. Is it possible to then send them an email for them to make payment for the next event?

When you use the Attendee mover, any payments applied to the ‘original’ registration will apply to the new registration (the attendee mover cancels the original registration and create another on the ‘new’ event, then assigns that registration to the original transaction with all payments).

Hi Josh
I’m considering the membership login suggestion you gave me, however, I know my stall holders are useless.

With the registration process, is it possible to have the default questions “personal” and “address” for stall holders who have previously completed the long registration form and then create a “group questions” for new stall holders who have not been to an event before. If so, how do I display that on my website? Is there shortcodes?

Thanks
Dani

Hi Dani,

It’s not currently possible to set up different sets of questions depending on whether they’re returning or are new. You could set up an optional group of questions where the returning stall holders could skip that section.
