Event Thumbnails in Event listing on the right or left, not on top

I want to put an image associated with each event in the event listing. A featured image puts the image on top of the event title. I want it on the left or right side of the title to conserve space and look neater. How would you recommend I do this?

Normally that’s controlled by the WordPress theme, and can be changed by adding some CSS. Can you post a link to your site’s event list? Maybe we can come up with a CSS suggestion.
