I have been using EE3 for about 3 years. I am looking at upgrading to EE4 now that there is a baked in Events Table add on (we had one customised by a programmer and are still currently using it for multiple tables on our site – http://www.lifetimetennis.co.uk/adult-booking-page/.) I just wanted to confirm that a similar functionality would be achieved in EE4 a) including creating different tables for multiple pages and b) sorting/filtering a table via dropdown for specific categories. |

The table layout is standard in EE4, and since EE4 uses CPTs, it’s much more friendly for developer customizations. But out of the box, the category filtering is available. If you would like to play around more with EE4 before committing, you can download the free, decaf version of it from WP.org, or use our test drive. |
Hi, The EE4 Events Table Add-on for Event Espresso 4 has some of the information that is shown in your current table: https://eventespresso.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/07/ee4-events-table3.jpg Custom coding would be needed to add the additional columns. The mobile apps update the check-in information for each attendee. You should be able to view the Attendee report screen in the WordPress dashboard for this event to see this information. Combining the check-in information into a report for a set of events isn’t currently available in Event Espresso at this time. — |

Thanks for the info Sidney & Lorenzo, I think the table shouls be fine for us to have customised slightly for our needs. In terms of tracking attendance over multiple weeks of a course – I guess I was hoping that there might be a way that the new Number of Uses per Ticket ‘Uses’ tab might be able to be adapted in some way so that the function of recording multiple attendances over the course (e.g 1xweek for 6 weeks) might be able to be firstly checked in at the start of each session and then recorded in the admin panel – I realise this isn’t currently a feature of EE4 but do you think it would be a big customisation job? Thanks for the feedback |

Hi Jwebber, The Number of Uses section will no doubt become well used once a ticketing system for EE4 is rolled out. In regards to your question, I would say it’s at least an intermediate job as it would require a custom plugin to integrate.
