I’m not sure I’m going about this in the best way. I have a client that wants visitors to their website to be able to submit an event to their venue and then be able to either delete the event or enable it on the backend (whether the admin approves it or not). What I’ve done so far is use EE3 and the beta front end event submission add on. That works just fine but once the events are submitted they are active immediately, is there a way to force submitted events to start as inactive so they can be approved by someone?
If there is a better way to accomplish this or if I should be using EE4 I would like to know.
thanks

Hello, this may be possible but you’ll need to edit a plugin file directly.

Could you try this solution?
