We’re seeing an event that has a limit of 8 tickets as sold out when only 7 registrants and 7 transactions are listed in the system. There are no items in trash. Not sure what’s happening. Please help if you can.
It might be a case where the PayPal IPN was delayed and EE tried to finalize the transaction, and while it did, the IPN was received, so the registration got counted twice. This is only a guess, but we can see if we can reproduce this on our servers and if we can, there should be something that can be done to prevent this from happening.
To re-open your event you’ll need to add another value to your datetime limit.
So currently the limit is set to 8, change this to 9 and this will allow another single registration.
Once you the update the event EE should recalculate the event status.
