Hi, I have a series of events listed on a clients website. Under each event is a ‘show details’ button that when clicked should open up the description information. For some reason when each button is clicked, the descriptions are not opening up as they have been in the past.
Any ideas what might be causing this? I assume it’s a conflict of some kind.
I checked and I see that most of EE’s JavaScript on the page, specifically the script that controls that show details button, isn’t loading. May I ask is the ticket selector shortcode added to the main page content or was it added into the page via a page builder or widget? Usually if the shortcode is added in via either as a Gutenberg shortcode block or into the main content editor (if you use the Classic editor plugin) then the required scripts will load.
Can you add it to the page’s main content section instead? The trouble with WPBakery is it doesn’t save the content into the WordPress post field. So the required JavaScript isn’t going to load on that page.
If you must use WPBakery to insert a ticket selector onto a page, you could try the ticket selector embed code that’s available to copy in the event editor. The embed code button is next to the shortcode button.
